My tribute.

He was always the man of peace,
he always had that expression of ease.
In Porbandar he was born,
In New Delhi he was gone.

Today he's called the father of the country,
wasn't he always such a revolutionary?

Intelligent and humble he was,
before action he used to think and take a pause.
On twenty-second October we have a holiday,
oh in the air, is that patriotic melody.

He always said "speak the truth",
he always ate the 'on time' fruit'.
If you follow his teachings,
in your life will be successful greetings.
He changed our country those many years back,
I think many of today's leaders deserve a whack.
