Snowflakes...

Why have you pondered over what's gone?
Why have you contemplated dry vengeance?
Could you have thought of the wasted energy your fire has drawn,
Could you have opened your strained fists?

The world is an image blurred,
There are secrets in all nooks and crannies,
Somewhere there is a force,
An exuberating magnitude waiting to be set free.

You could only look at that humongous charge,
You forgot the minute electrons,
You could say you have a healthy heart,
You forgot to say your soul was gone...

When would you know that final moment has arrived?
For you could consult no glowing crystal ball,
In the darkness your wits are your only light,
With clenched fists, you can't punch a wall.

Your eyes are your window to light,
But your eyes are only spheres of glass,
The true window is your mind,
Your face is your mask...

The stars look diminished next to the vast sky,
But the sky just dives into its own emptiness,
For the skies are the one to cry,
The stars are what you aspire to caress...

You'd love to engrave your name in gold,
A lifetime is what you make,
A promise to reach you epitome,
Momentary beauty and latter remembrance like white shimmering snowflakes...
