Biological clock...

Our days seemed to have only become stranger as they unfurled,
The very foundation has revealed its vulnerable side,
Weakened by the bounds of a numbers greatest myth,
War torn for the battle of prosperity...

The behavioral analysis of a deceptive mind has become to a halt,
The fundamental serpent of mockery is now immune to disgust,
Repulsive only to the rigid mortals,
As they now accept humanities greatest tragedy...

The frail old mind of a mortal is weaker,
Imbibed all the wisdom,
Wisdom, an apparently faithful friend of a lifetime,
Just to lose it all to senility...

The fickle promises of childhood is a struggle to bury,
As our fertility demands a perfect suitor,
Which makes way for all those lost dreams,
Reincarnated by the gust of mating season...

There happened to be a time when youth was a righteous possession,
As we fiercely enjoyed it and watched it slip away,
The fertile offspring envisioned dreams which the elders devoured,
As they taught the young how to become a scavenger of a higher order...

A skewed perception of time hovered over my head,
Blissful ignorance let me dream as days turned into years,
Here's when the prime of my youth turned into an antique,
Here's when a withered stage of life came to stay till death..
