Ugly

Empty,
Yet so full of matter,
So full of emotion,
Words and paintings,
Which would never see the break of dawn,
As the ugliness gets hidden within us,
Accumulating withing our cells,
Making them toxic and hostile.
Only the beauty gets the canvas,
Put on a brave face,
You should smile more...

Why are you so negative?
Is something  wrong?
I can almost feel you're not fine.
If only I could tell you I'm not,
However if I tell you,
You'd tell me I'm wrong,
You'll tell me to look at the side which is beautiful,
Which is as real as German silver,
As fake as my outer demeanor,
If only you would allow me to wipe off the paint within me ,
If I did, you would run away.

The world wants beauty,
The world runs on beauty,
Beauty of nature,
Beauty of people,
Beauty of God,
If you're bitter,
You would be thrown,
Deep within the ocean,
To join the debris,
That pollute the Earth.

The ugliness within the beauty is shunned,
Almost a crime,
Abandoned deep within,
Contaminating every cell,
Changing the dynamics,
Of world within worlds...
It will break down,
One particle after another,
Show itself,
As a disease that cannot be cured,
Where is the beauty now?

The beauty you tried so hard to find?
Has it joined the other side?
Or has the ugliness within you just revealed itself,
In a way you wouldn't have thought.
You see,
It was there,
At every breathing moment,
Intertwining with everything you chose not to see,
Everything you chose not to show.
For this rejection of inner ugliness was for the voyeurs,
Who tore beautiful pieces of your heart and left you as you were, ugly...
