Christmas, the holiday season. Snow (well, artificial snow here), cakes, a pine tree, a lit up church, etc. are the constituents of Christmas. I love Christmas it makes me happy, it makes me hopeful. There's the Christmas carol, Christmas decorations, praying and trying to communicate with Santa. Then comes New Year Eve, when we start afresh making resolutions which not many people stick to.
As for me, Christmas day also has some darkness to it, as my previous cat died last year on this day. But this year, I will not mourn. She will always be with me and is with me in the form of my new cat.
May Christmas always be a celebration, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year.
