Remembering the music

Here, I'm sitting thinking about the quality of music has gone down.According to me the quality of music has gone. These are my opinions.I think good music has become a scarce resource. There used to be a certain magic in music. Yes I'm sounding like an old judgemental bird but, I not, I'm just 14 but, I don't listen to much of today's music. I don't know why this has happen. All I want is good music, some thought in composing music. Will there be any legendary bands or musicians in this generation? Will there be anyone who will actually survive the showbiz and compose anything good? Will the quality of music get better? Will there be any fun in the music or will musicians get too self absorbed?

My top 5 bands are (in case you want to know for some reason)-
  1. Jethro Tull.
  2. The Who.
  3. The Beatles.
  4. Yes.
  5. The Doors.
PS- May good music rise and conquer our minds.

  1. Well there is a lot of good music. Possibly not in regular mainstream, but you may have to just look for it.

  3. Couldnt agree more! music is on decline, whether its the hindi scene, or rock. the pop,mtv and technological copy and paste has destroyed everything. and where's the poetry!!
but yes why not produce some :)

P.S: you might want to edit ur posts after you are done writing for the typos. :)

  4. Well,"good" music is always a relative term.Someone like me might think that Pandit Ravi Shankar is God,while another person would probably think he's a bore.
Point is,as long as you have something that you enjoy listening to,there's no reason for complaining.
    : )

  5. At Shyama, Nupur and Avijit- yes there is good music but what I feel that music as a whole has gone down.
At Anushil- yes we shall certainly produce some :D
